About Us
Who are Adventure Nomad?
We're a family-run motorhome and canal boat hire business based at Marsh Farm in Trowbridge, Wiltshire — started in 2023 by Juley with a genuine passion for outdoor holidays.
Our base at Marsh Farm is something special — a working farm with a café, pottery studio, and canal-side views, right on the edge of the Kennet & Avon Canal. It's the perfect place to start and end your adventure.
We believe that hiring a motorhome or canal boat shouldn't be complicated. That's why every hire includes a thorough 40–60 minute handover, all the kit you need, and Juley on hand throughout if you need anything. We want your holiday to be brilliant from the moment you leave our gates.

How It Works
From booking to adventure — here's what to expect when you hire from Adventure Nomad.
Book Online
Choose your dates and vehicle using our online availability calendar. Confirm your booking and pay your deposit.
Collect & Get Briefed
Arrive at Marsh Farm, Trowbridge. Juley will walk you through everything in a 40–60 minute handover so you feel confident before you go.
Head Off & Explore
Hit the road or the waterway. Wiltshire, the UK, or even Europe — the choice is yours. We're always on hand if you need us.
Return & Tell Us
Bring the vehicle back to Marsh Farm. Return check takes 30–40 minutes. We'd love to hear how it went — and hope to see you again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — you're welcome to leave your own vehicle at Marsh Farm while you're out on hire. There is parking available at our base in Trowbridge.
A standard UK or EU driving licence is sufficient for all of our motorhomes. No special licence is required.
No licence is required to hire a canal boat. We provide full tuition at the start of your hire so you'll feel completely confident on the water before you set off.
Yes, bedding and towels are included for all hires. We want you to arrive and enjoy your holiday without having to pack extra.
Yes, EU travel is available on application. Please contact us in advance as additional paperwork and a supplement fee applies. Please note that from October 2026, Brits travelling to the EU will also need an ETIAS travel authorisation.
